Chaz and his team were amazing! They helped me move from a high rise in Miami to a house in Orlando and wow I was beyond grateful for them. It was the easiest move I’ve ever done while also being the furthest distance. I truly have nothing but positive things to share about my experience.

This is my second experience with Gentle Giant Movers. My first experience five months ago was a cross country move with two crews (one in the departure city and the other in the arrival city). The service was excellent at both pick-up and drop-off. This time the move was local and I only considered Gentle Giant. The local move turned out to be everything I had hoped because I chose Gentle Giant and not another moving company. Drew, Colby, and Alex were efficient, completing the move faster than I expected, and at all times they were friendly and professional. They delivered, both literally and figuratively, and provided the exceptional service that has long been associated with Gentle Giant Movers.

Nick H., Denys K., and Amani K. did a truly amazing job! I was impressed with their communication, team work, and the care with which they treated our things. And my goodness, did they hustle!

It’s obvious how much the movers enjoy their job and specifically working for gentle giant. I’ve moved 5 times in the last 5 years, and have used gentle Giant each time. Sometimes I have the same movers, sometimes I have different ones. They’re all great! Even when things don’t go perfectly (inclement weather, the move in location is not ready for us, the reserved elevator got stolen by someone else, whatever) the movers are patient and supportive. I couldn’t ask for more.
This specific move overlapped Charlotte’s first snow forecast in years. I was told the team could be late, and to prepare. I greatly appreciated the constant flow of communication so I knew what to expect and knew gentle giant was taking care of everything.

The only thing that was not as expected is that originally I was expecting 4 movers, it was changed to 3, and with the bad weather, I ended up with 2. They were wonderfully efficient, but the move took longer than expected. Honestly, I’d rather have 2 movers from your team, than 4 from any other.

The team we had was excellent! They packed us and then moved us as well. Professional, quick and great guys in general. They took care of our home and all the details with care. They all had a great attitude and are a true credit to the Gentle Giant team of movers.

The crew was awesome, polite and respectful

Our move was an internal move – from one unit in a building to another unit in the same building. The entire crew was extremely helpful. They moved quickly and got the job done in less time than estimated. However, at the same time, they were extraordinarily careful in moving heavy furniture down steep and narrow flights of stairs with absolutely no damage to the furniture or to the wallpapered stairway walls. They repositioned everything exactly where we wanted it. I really can’t imagine a crew that could have done a better job!

The two men were amazing. They were efficient, organized, helpful, professional, and friendly. We were truly impressed.

Difficult move with condo full of stuff left by tenant…..movers were understanding, professional and fast

The entire crew was awesome, but I’d like to recognize Tom T. and Evan O. as going above and beyond the call of duty. They stayed in our office all day helping with the move, hanging TV, hanging pictures, etc. Great service!

The best part about moving with Gentle Giant is the customer service. I appreciated the careful estimates (and multiple rounds of questions) so that I knew what to expect. The packing and moving teams were professional and made me feel very comfortable with what is always a very stressful experience. Paul especially was a great crew lead and careful packer. I also appreciated that the estimate was accurate. Overall, it was a very good experience.

We were extremely lucky to have Cory, Antonio, and Kymanii as our moves! They were so fast and efficient with moving everything even with our bigger items. They made the whole process so quick and easy. I would absolutely recommend Gentle Giant to anyone I know who needs movers and would let them know if they were lucky enough to get these three guys then they are in good hands.

Our move crew was incredible. Two of the movers (Ionut G. and Denys K. ) also helped us last year during our previous move, so we’ve had more than one positive experience with them. Ionut went out of his way to get us moved quickly. All 3 members of the crew were terrific and so helpful. To say that I was impressed with the moving services provided by Ed, John, and the entire Gentle Giant team is a complete understatement. This company is amazing! Everything, and I mean everything, for my daughter’s move from Boston to Washington, D. C. went perfectly. I had done quite a bit of homework researching companies to help with this move. Reliability was very important to me. Gentle Giant’s stellar reviews, on top of a recommendation from my brother-in-law, made the decision an easy one. Ed started us off with a helpful explanation of the process and an estimate that remained unchanged at sign-off time. John did an excellent job coordinating the move and was always available to answer our many questions. The movers came exactly on time and couldn’t have been nicer. They packaged everything extremely carefully and made quick work of loading everything onto the truck. On the D.C. end, our two movers were also on time and communicative. They, too, were very kind and friendly and worked tirelessly to move the items into the home, unpack them carefully, and set up the bed frame. It’s rare to have experiences such as this go off without a hitch, but this one certainly did. I simply cannot say enough good things about Gentle Giant and will recommend them to everyone I know. Packing abilities were fantastic. The guys took their time and did a great job

The help our crew provided was invaluable. I can’t properly express how kind and professional they were.

Everything went relatively smoothly. The Firefighters team in Houston was amazing. The Boston Gentle Giant movers were also very efficient. There was a little bit of miscommunication between Gentle Giant, Firefighters, and the third party driver about the logistics (Gentle giant rep thought maybe our stuff was being loaded onto Firefighter truck, Firefighters thought it was a gentle giant truck, Driver thought he was picking up furniture pallets). Overall, crews were punctual, friendly and took care with our belongings, and we appreciate the quick delivery, especially within the holiday window. If we are planning to move again in the Boston area, we will definitely reach back out to Gentle Giant!

The furniture was delivered without any damage which is exceptional considering the small elevator area and lengthy corridors to reach the moving truck.

It would be impossible to say enough good about the crew. They were on time, very careful with our possessions, quick, neat, and very polite. Delivering at the new place, it had snowed the day before, they took extraordinary steps to keep things clean and dry. You could not ask for more.

Huge thanks to Nick and friends who did such an amazing job helping me move out. They moved FAST and showed extraordinary creativity in not only moving my furniture and boxes but they assembled my bed frame on arrival. No small feat!

I have never had a move go so smoothly. From scheduling and getting questions answered, to the actual move day, everyone I interacted with was helpful and professional. Our movers were respectful of our home and they did an incredible job moving everything safely, even though it was raining. I really appreciated them looking out for one another and asking “do you need a hand with that” or “watch your step here.” It is scary watching people move heavy items, but I felt much better about the experience with them keeping safety in mind. They even moved our piano up a flight of stairs and were slow and deliberate, taking breaks as needed. This is a huge contrast to a previous move (not with Gentle Giant) where they dropped my piano causing significant damage. I don’t remember our movers names but they were awesome!

Mindaugas was fantastic to work with!! Him and his team are best in class. He was not a moving manager, I would more say he was more like a “moving concierge”. He was very friendly, thoughtful, available, never rushed and never annoyed with any questions I had. His team was top notch, efficient, detail oriented and careful with our things. We highly recommend using them.

Erin in the office was awesome too, she helped with all our last minute questions while Matt was on the road.

Weather was terrible and these guys were great! Great attitude in 30 degrees rain and snow. Very careful of all our stuff and the floors in our new home.

My initial positive impression was that you didn’t use AI for scheduling (unlike most of your competitors). You used actual human beings who were knowledgeable, prompt and professional. As for the movers, they showed up within one minute of their scheduled time and moved quickly and completed the move earlier than I anticipated. The budget was exactly consistent with the budget. I cannot say enough good things about your company and will absolutely use you in the future and recommend you to my colleagues and friends.

Michael and Sean were excellent. Our delivery went very smoothly without any problems. They were both very helpful and careful and couldn’t have done anything differently to make our move better.

Every aspect was exemplary, from initial inquiry, revising the itinerary, quick turnaround of revised estimates. The crew was prompt and presentable, polite and efficient. They took great care with fragile antiques. They were helpful and patient when moving items inside the house.

We were fortunate to have an extraordinary crew led by Vasile who was professional, incredibly thorough and wonderful to have cautiously caring for our belongings. They moved us out of our lodge in Saranac Lake, NY in a snowstorm on 10/14 efficiently. They arrived in Truro, MA last Friday – finding out remote house despite no wifi, spotty GPS and it was a great reunion as we really cared for these guys. They went above and beyond moving a bed and chairs in order to unload our beds and chairs. Vasile noticed the newly finished floors and put pads under our dining room chairs. To say they were a magnificent crew is an understatement. Vasile and both of his crews made our move pleasant, easy and positive. They deserve high praise.
As do Patrick and then John Weigle who communicated constantly and were reassuring and again pleasant and professional. Gentle Giant is the moving company all should emulate.

Zsolt was great to work with regarding the initial quote and booking process, patiently answering my multiple questions. I wound up using GG through a furniture donation program and I am so impressed with how courteous and professional the team was, that I have already recommended GG to the Real Estate Agent who introduced me to the program. What a great idea, picking up furniture that we can’t get rid of (even though it’s perfectly usable) and donating it to those in need. When we change furniture, it doesn’t always mean there is something wrong with the old furniture. We tried direct donation, but no one wanted to pick up the items. That’s where GG came in. Not only did GG solve problems, but they treated us like paying customers, from the efficiency of the phone team to the friendliness of the moving team. Someday, when I move, I will call upon GG. Until then, I’ll certainly recommend the GG team.

Bambi was my first contact and she was great. Took all my information, gave me an accurate estimate and arranged for a moving date that worked for me.
My moving team of Nelu and HD were wonderful. Helpful and professional. They had the job done in the allowed time and everything was in perfect order when they left. They went the extra mile by helping install my TV and internet equipment and even vacuumed my bedroom carpet before placing the bed back in the room.

Everything went smoothly. All my belongings were handled carefully and arrived in excellent condition. The men who did the move were polite, friendly, and professional.

Please note that when I take these types of surveys, I rarely give such high marks. But Gentle Giant is truly extraordinary….all the way from the kindness/friendliness of the movers (Chloe, Zack, and Patrick) to their professional skills and remarkable efficiency. As I’ll note below, Matt L., Erin G., and everyone (please forgive-I don’t recall their names) with whom I dealt on the phone/email were superb. My first experience with GG was in 2002 and I have exclusively used them ever since (both for residential and office; for myself and other family members) and each experience has been truly amazing. I am very grateful to this company and frequently mention their name to friends, neighbors, and acquaintances, and will be happy to continue doing so.
